The Malabar Parotta (also known as Kerala Porotta) is a beloved, flaky, multi-layered flatbread originating from the Malabar coast of Kerala. Unlike the North Indian Paratha, which is usually whole wheat and stuffed, the Malabar version is made from refined flour (Maida) and is characterized by its distinct spiral layers and soft, chewy texture.
