un Parotta is a famous street food delicacy from Madurai, Tamil Nadu. It gets its name from its small, round, and thick shape that resembles a burger bun.
Texture: Unlike the wide, flat Malabar Parotta, the Bun Parotta is thick and densely layered. It is incredibly soft and "springy" on the inside while maintaining a crisp, golden-brown exterior.
Preparation: Made from maida (all-purpose flour), eggs, milk, and a generous amount of butter or oil. The dough is stretched thin, coiled into a tight spiral, and shallow-fried on a tawa.
